Reporting to : Head of Accounting
Primary Location: Viman Nagar in Pune, India
Employee Status: Permanent
Schedule: Full Time
Key activities and competencies
Closure of Accounts : Ensure timely and accurate closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual in line account with Indian Accounting Standards & IFRS.
Invoice Management : Keep supplier and customer invoices up to date in the books of legal entities.
Financial Analysis : Analyze complex financial reports and produce compliant financial statements.
Report Preparation : Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analyses, bank reconciliations, vendor and customer reconciliations, and inter-company reconciliations.
Audit Support : Assist in the preparation for annual audits and respond to internal and external auditor inquiries.
Compliance : Ensure compliance with the company’s financial policies, rules, and regulations.
Process Improvement : Suggest and implement improvements in accounting and reporting processes.
Budget Preparation : Support in budget preparation and cash flow forecasting.
ERP Implementation : Undertake activities assigned to the Accounting Team for the SAP B1 Engie or another new ERP implementation.
Tax Compliance
Key relationships
Internal : Accounting Team, employees, internal auditors.
External : Suppliers, customers, external auditors.
Required Qualifications
Degree : Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2- 10 years of experience.
Experience : More than 2 years of general accounting & Tax Compliance experience
Preferably in a Big4 public accounting firm or
in a Multinational Corporate Environment in Renewable Energy / Manufacturing / Infrastructure concern.
Technical Skills : Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards and IFRS.
SAP -B1 software.
Computer Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Ability to prepare, analyse and interpret financial information
Communication: high communication and interpersonal skills
