Job OverviewThe Security & Compliance Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the organization's security posture by implementing and maintaining robust security controls, monitoring Darktrace, SIEM, and other SOC tools, and coordinating incident response.Main Responsibilities:Safeguard cloud and on-premises infrastructure through effective implementation and maintenance of security controls.Monitor security-related systems to detect and respond to potential threats in real-time.Investigate security incidents and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective resolution.Develop and implement security policies and procedures to maintain compliance standards.Contribute to risk management and compliance reporting, including audit preparation and documentation.Collaborate with IT Operations to strengthen access controls, endpoint protection, and data security measures.Partner with the Engineering team to secure cloud infrastructure and applications using various security tools.Identify vulnerabilities or misconfigurations and ensure timely remediation.Evaluate high-risk issues and potential breaches with the Technical Architect.RequirementsTo be successful as a Security & Compliance Engineer, you should possess:At least 3 years of experience in security operations, SOC support, or a related field.Familiarity with Darktrace, SIEMs, or similar security monitoring tools.Understanding of IT compliance frameworks and risk management practices.Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.Able to collaborate effectively with IT, engineering, and leadership teams.A keen attention to detail and proactive approach to security.
