The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical modeling and data analysis.Key Requirements:Masters degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Computer Science, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative field.Strong expertise in Python programming language and software engineering principles including version control, testing, modular coding, and CI/CD workflows.Solid understanding of optimization techniques and algorithm design including mixed integer programming, heuristic methods, and simulation modeling.Familiarity with optimization solvers and modeling frameworks such as Gurobi, CPLEX, Pyomo, or OR-Tools.Critical Skills:Proficiency in data engineering concepts including SQL, ETL, data modeling, and data quality management.Experience working in cross-functional product teams alongside software engineers and UX designers.Excellent communication skills and ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.A mindset focused on scalability, maintainability, and engineering rigor balancing analytical depth with production readiness.
