Job Opportunity:Talasha is hiring a Manager- Tax Consultant for a Mergers & Acquisition Tax advisory profile. The chosen candidate will work with one of India's leading transaction advisory firms based in Bangalore.This consulting firm specializes in M&A tax and structuring services for diverse domestic and multi-national clients, providing expert guidance on complex mergers and acquisitions deals.Key Responsibilities:Structuring potential mergers and acquisition deals to ensure alignment with client goals and objectives.Undertaking slump sales, share transfers, merger, demerger, and restructuring activities to maximize efficiency and minimize risks.Providing tax diligence services, advising on tax implications for the corporate in the mergers deal, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Offering start-up, real estate, and e-commerce advisory services with focused industry insights to drive business growth.Assisting with fund structuring and advisory services - transaction advisory in relation to fund raises, shareholder realignments, and investor exits.Handling business model advisory services, negotiating with strategic investors, spotting deal issues, identifying economic constraints, and assessing risk appetite from the perspective of strategic private equity investors.Developing family succession planning structures to ensure smooth transition and continuity.Requirements:Chartered Accountant qualification.At least 2 years post-qualification experience in tax consultancy from reputable firms (PWC, Deloitte, E&Y, KPMG, etc).Strong understanding of Direct Taxation and M&As in diverse industries, with ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.Compensation:The CTC is Rs. 17-24LPA basis last drawn.
