Job TitleSolarWinds Automation ProfessionalWe are seeking a highly skilled SolarWinds automation expert to manage, optimize and automate various functions of our infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the SolarWinds Orion suite, with experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of the platform as well as PowerShell Development.This role plays a critical part in ensuring observability, performance monitoring, and automation across our global infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:Administer and maintain the SolarWinds Orion platform, including NPM, NCM, SAM, VNQM, and other modules.Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automating SolarWinds tasks such as:Node onboarding/offboardingAlert suppression or muting during maintenance windowsCustom alert/report generation and distribution o SolarWinds–ServiceNow integration enhancementsImplement custom monitoring logic, automated diagnostics, and integrations via Orion API, SWIS, and REST endpoints.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand automation needs and deliver solutions that support observability workflows.Build tools and utilities to support monitoring self-service, reporting automation, and configuration validation.Manage custom Pollers, SNMP configurations, and agentless/agent-based monitoring across multi-vendor environments.Design and optimize SWQL and SQL queries to support reports and custom dashboards for tailored views.Configure and maintain alert logic, escalation policies, and notification integrations (e.g., with ServiceNow, email, Teams).Participate in incident triage and root cause analysis, leveraging SolarWinds logs and metrics.Maintain security posture of the application, including RBAC, SNMPv3, and audit logging.Contribute to and maintain Kanban board tasks and documentation related to SolarWinds projects and issues.About This RoleThis is an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of our IT infrastructure.The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for automation and a desire to continuously improve processes and systems.We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, with opportunities for growth and professional development.
