Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated PHE & FPS Design Engineer who will play a critical role in winning and executing EPC projects and B2B tenders. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing tender designs, optimizing PHE & FPS systems through value engineering, preparing cost estimations, and coordinating with consultants for design approvals. The role also demands proactive problem-solving to address project execution and site-related queries.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret tender drawings, designs, and specifications related to PHE & FPS systems.
• Conduct value engineering for plumbing, sanitary, and fire protection systems to ensure cost-effective and efficient designs.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and purchase BOMs in line with project requirements.
• Coordinate with PHE & FPS consultants for drawing reviews, design validation, and GFC (Good for Construction) approvals.
• Provide on-site technical support, resolving PHE & FPS–related queries during execution.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and statutory requirements (NBC, NFPA, local by-laws, etc.).
• Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams (civil, electrical, mechanical, procurement, and project management) to deliver seamless project execution.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Civil/Building Services Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 2–6 years of experience in PHE and FPS design, estimation, or EPC projects (construction/infra experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, sanitary, water supply, drainage, and fire-fighting systems.
• Familiarity with tender processes, BOQs, GFC drawings, and relevant design standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
