Lead, Accounts Payable

As an AP Team Lead, you'll be responsible for guiding the AP Team as they manage the operations of Accounts payable process within the US regions. You are expected to manage and enhance the financial control environment around Accounts Payable. As a Team Lead you will guide the business to mitigate risk, support high quality decision making and help build the financial infrastructure to scale in support of the business.We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Gurugram for our hybrid working model.Shift Timings - 6 PM - 2 AMResponsibilitiesInvolved in month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities including preparing journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliationsSupervise and manage 2-3 AP specialists , assigning the tasks between themSound knowledge of Invoice processing , Vendor reconciliation , payment processing , PO & Non PO based invoicingDevelop team members by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationshipsResponsible for guiding the AP on their transactions, balance sheet reconciliations & various report preparationsAssist in the design and implementation of internal controls, process improvements & process documentation Adherence to US GAAP with respect to all accounting interpretations and applications. Work cross functionally, and interact with all levels of managementPrepare and present KPIs to stakeholdersExperience & Qualifications8+ years core AP experience including 2+ years of people manager experience - RequiredStrong knowledge of Vendor invoice processing/ claims processing, US GAAP, internal controls, and accounting processes & proceduresNetSuite & Coupa experience is a plusTax knowledge would be an advantageCommitment to excellence and high standardsMust be a positive, energetic team playerStrong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbout MongoDBMongoDB is built for change, empowering our customers and our people to innovate at the speed of the market.
