Lead Security Architect

Job OverviewAs a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and enforcing robust security policies that protect our cloud, on-premises, and hybrid infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement comprehensive security architectures to ensure compliance with industry standards, including ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.Create and manage policy-as-code frameworks to automate continuous compliance checks and embed security into our CI/CD pipelines.Design and implement automated drift detection and self-healing playbooks to prevent security vulnerabilities in our VPCs, Kubernetes clusters, and endpoints.Configure monitoring and logging tools to detect and respond to critical security incidents, and lead root-cause investigations to identify areas for improvement.Required Skills and Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of experience in driving security and compliance initiatives in regulated environments, with expertise in fintech and portfolio management standards.Deep knowledge of GCP security features, including IAM, KMS, VPC Service Controls, Cloud Logging/Audit, WAF, and SecOps.Strong Infrastructure-as-Code skills using Terraform or equivalent, and GitOps experience using ArgoCD or Flux.Proficiency in Python scripting and policy-as-code frameworks like OPA and Gatekeeper.Excellent communication skills to translate technical findings into clear policies and remediation plans.Desirable Skills:Familiarity with multi-cloud security controls.Security certifications like GCP Professional Security Engineer, CISSP, CKA/CKS.Experience with service mesh or zero-trust architectures.Why This Role Matters:This is an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization's security posture.You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to drive security and compliance initiatives.Our team is passionate about security and is committed to staying ahead of emerging threats.
