Cloud Security SpecialistThis role is responsible for ensuring the security of Sphera's cloud-based applications. About this Role:We are looking for a skilled Cloud Security Specialist to join our team and help us identify vulnerabilities in our systems.The ideal candidate will have experience with application security, cloud infrastructure, and penetration testing.As a Cloud Security Specialist, you will be working closely with development teams to ensure that our applications meet the highest security standards.Your Key Responsibilities:Participate in and support application security reviews and threat modeling, including code review and dynamic testing.Own and perform application security vulnerability management.Facilitate and support the preparation of security releases.Support and consult with product and development teams in application security.Assist in creation of security training.Assist in development of automated security testing to validate that secure coding best practices are being used.Support dynamic and static vulnerability scanning toolsSupport open source software scanning toolsWhat You Will Need:Familiarity with common security libraries, security controls, and common security flaws.Basic development or scripting experience and skills.Experience with OWASP, static/dynamic analysis, and common security tools.A basic understanding of network and web related protocols (such as TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS).Experience working with developers.Excellent and professional communication skills (written and verbal) with an ability to articulate complex topics in a clear and concise manner.Experience identifying security issues through code review.Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in written formWorking Conditions:Remote14:30-23:30 ISTWe Are An Equal Opportunity Employer:We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all colleagues.This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the job and the general nature and level of work performed by job holders within this job.
