Rust Blockchain EngineerWe are seeking an experienced Blockchain Developer with strong expertise in Rust and decentralized systems.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain blockchain protocols, consensus mechanisms, and decentralized applications.Write high-quality, efficient, and secure code for blockchain components.Implement smart contracts, cryptographic functions, and distributed ledger tools.Develop and optimize node infrastructure, P2P networking, and runtime modules.Collaborate with architecture, product, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable blockchain systems.Review code, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance bottlenecks in distributed systems.Required Skills & Experience:5+ years of experience in blockchain development.Strong programming experience in Rust (mandatory).Deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals:Consensus algorithmsCryptographic primitivesPeer-to-peer networksTransaction flowsSmart contract executionExperience with one or more blockchain ecosystems (e.g., Solana, Polkadot/Substrate, Cosmos, Ethereum)—preferably Rust-based chains.Hands-on experience with distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.Proficient with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup.Preferred Skills:Experience with Substrate framework.Knowledge of WASM, Zero-Knowledge systems, Layer 1/L2 architectures.Exposure to Rust async runtimes (Tokio, async-std).Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.Additional Information:This is a fully remote opportunity.Must be self-driven with strong communication and documentation skills.
