Job Description:The Endocrinologist Specialist plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care within their division. This specialist physician shares responsibility with the consultant physician for conducting comprehensive patient assessments, taking medical histories, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and formulating personalized treatment plans for complex conditions.The key responsibilities include: Conducting thorough patient evaluations to identify underlying causes of diseases or disorders within the specialty.Developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to individual patients' needs, ensuring effective management of their condition.Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic and integrated patient care, addressing physical, emotional, and social aspects of health.Documenting all relevant clinical information accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to legal and regulatory requirements.Engaging in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and research activities to enhance patient safety and care standards.Required Skills and Qualifications:Education: A medical degree (MBBS) or equivalent from a recognized institution is essential.Post-Graduate Training: Completion of a structured clinical residency or fellowship program in endocrinology is required.Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience post-specialization, depending on DOH tier classification qualifications and specific hospital requirements.Licensing:A valid Department of Health Abu Dhabi license or an eligibility letter to practice in Abu Dhabi is highly preferred.A current Certificate of Good Standing from the relevant licensing authority is mandatory.Successful completion of the DOH licensing exam, which may involve an oral assessment, is necessary.Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous medical education are essential.Language: Fluency in English and Arabic is required, and competence in other languages can be an asset.
