Programmer Analyst – AutoCAD Automation and .NET, SQL Specialist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Programmer Analyst to join our in-house team, specializing in creating web-based applications and automation in addition to converting and enhancing legacy VBA applications for AutoCAD. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in AutoCAD API and object model , C# , .NET , and SQL Server , with added expertise in developing cloud-based, web applications and automated solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to work on modernizing our applications and automating workflows for improved efficiency and functionality.
Responsibilities
VBA to C# Conversion with AutoCAD API Integration:
Analyze and convert VBA code for AutoCAD into optimized C# code within the .NET environment.
Ensure that converted applications fully leverage the AutoCAD API and object model for seamless integration.
Web Application Development:
Design and develop cloud-based web applications to support internal and client-facing requirements.
Use ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
Automation & Workflow Optimization:
Develop automated workflows for data processing, reporting, and task scheduling to reduce manual interventions.
Implement automation solutions that integrate with web applications and AutoCAD, optimizing efficiency and accuracy.
Cloud-Based Solutions:
Migrate and deploy applications on cloud platforms to improve scalability and accessibility.
Utilize cloud databases and resources for efficient data storage, retrieval, and processing.
Database Management and Optimization:
Work with SQL Server to manage and optimize database operations, queries, and data storage.
Design and implement database solutions to support both web and desktop applications.
Testing, Debugging, and Documentation:
Conduct comprehensive testing to ensure performance, reliability, and accuracy of applications.
Maintain thorough documentation for all application development, automation scripts, and web integrations.
Collaboration and Support:
Work closely with other team members, including business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders, to ensure applications meet business needs.
Provide support and training to users on new applications, automation solutions, and best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience with VBA programming for AutoCAD, including strong knowledge of the AutoCAD API and object model.
3+ years of experience in C# and .NET, with additional expertise in web application development.
Proficiency in SQL Server and cloud data management.
Hands-on experience with ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript , and other web development tools.
Experience with cloud computing platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and cloud-based applications.
Knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages for workflow automation is a plus.

SQL Server and cloud databases
Web development (ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
