Job SummaryOur team is seeking a highly skilled Tax Associate to join our organization. As a key member of our tax department, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing U.S. federal and state tax returns for general contractors, subcontractors, and developers.The ideal candidate will have expertise in analyzing percentage-of-completion (POC) and completed-contract methods for accurate tax treatment.Prepare and review U.S. federal and state tax returns for general contractors, subcontractors, and developers.Analyze percentage-of-completion (POC) and completed-contract methods for accurate tax treatment.Perform multi-state apportionment analysis and nexus determination.Handle depreciation schedules and Section 179/bonus depreciation related to heavy equipment and fixed assets.Assist in preparation of K-1s, tax basis calculations, and reconciliation of book-to-tax differences.Communicate with U.S. engagement teams to resolve open items.Strong experience preparing or reviewing Form 990.Familiarity with Schedule A (public support test) and UBIT issues.Key Responsibilities:In this role, you will work closely with our clients to understand their specific tax needs and develop effective solutions.
