The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation, security, and optimization of our organization's IT infrastructure. This role requires a strong understanding of ITIL practices, along with advanced knowledge in Microsoft technologies.Microsoft Windows Administration:Manage, configure, and optimize Microsoft Windows Server environments.Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of Windows-based systems.Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades.Troubleshoot and resolve Windows Server-related issues promptly.Implement and maintain Active Directory services, Group Policies, and user accounts.Office 365 Administration:Administer and optimize Office 365 applications and services.Manage user accounts, licenses, and permissions within Office 365.Implement and support Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business.Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to Office 365 services.Collaborate with end-users to provide support and training on Office 365 applications.Infrastructure Security:Implement and maintain security measures to protect Windows and Office 365 environments.Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting root cause analysis.Implement and enforce security policies and best practices.Stay updated on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.ITIL Practices:Apply ITIL practices in incident, problem, change, and configuration management.Collaborate with the IT service desk to resolve incidents and service requests.Ensure compliance with ITIL processes for efficient and effective IT operations.Contribute to the continuous improvement of ITIL processes.Documentation and Reporting:Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies.Generate reports on system performance, security, and compliance.Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs).Collaboration and Communication:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and support IT solutions.Communicate effectively with end-users and stakeholders.Participate in meetings to discuss system improvements and IT projects.Critical Skill Sets:Technical Skills:In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems.Proficient in administering Office 365 applications and services.Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware).Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.Security:Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards.Experience in implementing and managing security solutions.Ability to conduct security assessments and audits.Problem-solving:Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Proactive in identifying and resolving potential issues.Communication:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Certifications:Relevant certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent.Certification in Office 365 administration is a plus.
