SAP Basis and Security ManagerLeading SAP Basis and Security operations across the enterprise is crucial for ensuring system stability, performance, and compliance. This role combines infrastructure oversight with governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) responsibilities, supporting both technical and regulatory needs of SAP landscapes.Manage installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, Fiori, and Solution Manager.Oversee system upgrades, kernel patches, and support packs with validation in sandbox environments and production rollout.Monitor system performance, conduct health checks, and coordinate with OS/DB teams for optimization strategies.Approve and plan SAP downtime for upgrade and maintenance activities to minimize business disruption.Expertise on Cloud ALM is highly valued in this role.Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies that are tested and reliable.Key Responsibilities:Implement access control and authorization management across modules and environments to ensure data security.Develop and maintain GRC/IAG Access Control, Segregation of Duty (SoD), and audit controls to meet regulatory requirements.Regularly review privileged accounts, inactive users, and role assignments to prevent unauthorized access.Lead automation initiatives to enhance audit compliance and de-provisioning processes.Ensure secure user access and mapping for SAP GUI, Fiori, RFC, and background users.Leadership & Collaboration:Lead cross-functional teams consisting of Basis, Security, Infrastructure, and Application Support staff.Mentor junior staff and foster continuous improvement through training and knowledge sharing.Collaborate with project teams for secure SAP implementations and upgrades.
