Job Description Quality Control (QC)Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Assurance professional with over 10 years of experience in a Buying House / Factory / Brand. The ideal candidate should have strong vendor management skills, hands-on experience with in-line, mid-line, FPT, GPT, and final inspections, and the ability to coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely and quality delivery.Key Responsibilities:Conduct in-line, mid-line, and final inspections at vendor/factory sitesVerify product specifications, measurements, trims, packaging, and labeling before shipmentShare real-time inspection reports with merchandising and sourcing teamsRaise alerts for any quality deviations and assist in implementing corrective actionsEnsure production follows approved samples and technical packsCoordinate with vendors to resolve quality concerns promptlyEnsure compliance with buyer testing and inspection protocolsMaintain daily QC logs and performance documentationParticipate in Pre-Production Meetings (PPMs) with vendorsReport any production risks or delays immediately to the teamKey Skills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of woven, knits, and accessories productionProficient in vendor and supply chain managementEffective communication and negotiation skillsWorking knowledge of Excel, PLM systems, and ERP (if applicable)Ability to multitask and work under pressureStrong attention to detail and analytical abilityKey Functional Skills:Product Development with all inspectionsSampling CoordinationTech Pack UnderstandingTNA Management (Time and Action Calendar as per inspections)Vendor ManagementTrims & Accessories KnowledgeWIP Tracking (Work in Progress)Client CommunicationProduction CoordinationStyle Tracker MaintenanceEducational Qualification:Degree/Diploma in Fashion Technology / Apparel Merchandising / Textile Design or relevant field. Experience in QC within the textile and apparel industry is highly preferred.Preferred Background:Prior experience in a Fashion Buying House, Factory, and/or Brands is desirable.
