We are looking for an experienced Ab Initio Developer to design, develop, and optimize ETL solutions for enterprise-scale data integration projects in the finance and capital markets domain. The role demands strong technical skills in Ab Initio and related technologies, along with the ability to work in an agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Locations: PAN IndiaKey Responsibilities:Develop and maintain Ab Initio graphs using components like Rollup, Scan, Join, Partition (by key/by round robin), Gather, Merge, Interleave, LookupConfigure Ab Initio standard environment parameters, GD (PDL, MFS concepts), and EME basicsProduce Low-Level Design (LLD) documents and collaborate with testers and PMOWork on multiple source systems and targets, handling daily and monthly batch schedulesDevelop and support complex frameworks for multiple data ingestion patterns (messaging files, hierarchical/polymorphic XML structures, canonical models)Implement Plans and Conduct>It for orchestration and schedulingProvide 3rd-level support and troubleshoot performance issuesCollaborate on data modeling (CDM, LDM, PDM) using tools like Erwin, PowerDesigner, MagicDrawEnsure compliance with SDLC, QA processes, and agile methodologiesRequired Skills:Ab Initio: Graph development, PDL, meta-programming, Plans, Conduct>It, Express>It (preferred)Database: SQL proficiency, DB load/unload utilities, experience with Oracle, DB2, TeradataUNIX: Shell scripting (must), utilities like sed, awk, perl, pythonScheduling Tools: Control-M, Autosys, Maestro, TWS, ESPCI/CD: Knowledge of Jenkins and automation conceptsCapital Markets Domain: Understanding of derivatives (IRS, CDS, Options), structured products, and fixed incomeData Modeling: Experience creating CDMs, LDMs, PDMsStrong understanding of Ab Initio interaction with hardware ecosystem
