IT System Development Intern for an NGO in Sustainability

We are looking for an enthusiastic IT System Development Intern to join our team. You will be responsible for:

Automating Tasks:

  • Developing Python scripts to automate tasks.
  • Utilizing API services to streamline processes.
  • Leveraging AI and prompt engineering for enhanced task automation.

Troubleshooting:

  • Diagnosing  complex issues in web applications and systems;  and fixing server errors.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical challenges throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring smooth IT system operations.

Application Development:

  • Creating applications to support the organisational requirement..
  • Curiosity to expand knowledge and skills in web application development and system architecture.

Optimisation :  

  •  Implement optimization techniques in software development processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and performance of IT projects.
  • Maintain and update existing web applications and systems, leveraging technical expertise to ensure continuous functionality. 

Collaboration and Community Building:

  • Working closely with the team to develop solutions.
  • Gathering insights to inform process improvements.

Desired Qualities are : 

  •  Python programming.
  • Knowledge of API services
  • Basic understanding of web development, server management and troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Curiosity and Learning


Duration: 6 Months


Stipend:

  • Rs. 5,000 per month for the first 2 months
  • Rs 7,500 per month for months 3 and 4 months, subject to a performance rating of 4/5 and above
  • Rs. 10,000 per month for months 5 and 6, subject to a performance rating of 4/5 and above
  • The above stipend amounts are for a minimum of 30 hours per week of time investment
