We are seeking a passionate and skilled Senior Cyber Security Application Engineer to join our Threat and Vulnerability Management team to help with cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of Cyber Security tools and provide secure solutions for our internal clients.Job Description:As a Senior Cyber Security Application Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing advanced security application solutions that enable application and security engineers to work more effectively to detect and resolve security issues. Your expertise will be crucial in automating processes related to vulnerabilities, discovery of resources, and ensuring the integrity of our systems. You will be involved in all phases of the development life cycle including collaborating with cross-functional teams to innovate and create state-of-the-art security measures that help safeguard our digital assets. You should be knowledgeable in object-oriented development and engineering best practices. What You'll Do:Enhance Security: Design and implement features to boost Blackbaud products with robust security and automation.Drive Improvements: Identify and implement enhancements to improve client experience and performance.Collaborate: Work with stakeholders and team members, providing updates at daily standups.Maintain and Support: Participate in the ongoing maintenance and support of solutions.Practice Agile: Follow Agile development best practices and processes.Design Solutions: Collaborate on technical design with other engineers.Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest technical developments.Ensure Compliance: Adhere to web standards and accessibility requirements.What You'll Bring:Experience: 6+ years in designing and developing applications on the Microsoft stack.Cyber Security: General knowledge of cyber security for infrastructure and applications.Security Tools: Familiarity with cyber security tools and APIs.Web Technologies: Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, HTML, and Angular.Backend Skills: Strong in C#, .NET Core, and Cosmos DB.Azure Expertise: Familiar with AKS, Storage, Queue, Key Vault, and Redis.Best Practices: Knowledge of software engineering best practices and object-oriented development.APIs: Experience with RESTful services and APIs.Tools: Familiar with Git and continuous integration systems.Ability to deliver code which meets minimum standards of security, quality and operability.Stay up to date on everything Blackbaud, follow us on Linkedin, X, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube Blackbaud is a digital-first company which embraces a flexible remote or hybrid work culture.
