Location: Kudlu Gate, Bangalore (Office-based role) Type: Full-time | Immediate Joining About the Role: We’re seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy E-commerce Accountant to manage and optimize financial operations across multiple online sales channels, including Amazon, Shopify, Flipkart, Meesho, Blinkit, and other marketplaces. This role plays a vital part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, GST compliance, and data-driven insights that support brand growth and profitability in a fast-moving digital commerce environment. Key Responsibilities (KRA): Financial Operations & Reporting Maintain accurate records of all e-commerce transactions, returns, chargebacks, commissions, and platform fees. Reconcile payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay) and logistics settlements (e.g., Shiprocket). Manage and reconcile marketplace settlements (Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Shopify, etc.). Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements tailored to e-commerce performance. Track and analyze COGS, gross margins, and SKU-level profitability to identify improvement opportunities. Handle purchase order tracking, debit/credit note reconciliation, and RTO/return reconciliation. Process vendor and partner payments, ensuring invoices are accurate and properly matched. Generate and maintain MIS reports and P&L statements across platforms. Compliance & Taxation Ensure accurate GST compliance and filing for all online transactions. Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants for timely filings, assessments, and audits. Stay updated with e-commerce tax and accounting regulations and implement necessary system updates. Operational Coordination Collaborate with operations, finance, and marketplace teams to streamline accounting processes. Support management in preparing financial insights for business planning and profitability tracking. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (M.Com preferred). 1–3+ years of experience in e-commerce or retail accounting. Strong knowledge of Tally Prime / Zoho Books / QuickBooks / ERP systems. Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central, Shopify reports, and marketplace dashboards. Excellent understanding of GST, TDS, and marketplace fee structures. Strong analytical, reconciliation, and reporting skills. Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and comfort with tech-driven financial tools.
