We are seeking a highly skilled Java Backend Engineer to drive the development of scalable, high-performance backend systems.Our ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain robust backend services using Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot 3+.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain complex backend services that integrate with relational databases including PostgreSQL, Google Cloud Spanner.Build new RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints to replace legacy system components and power modern internal tools.Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deploy and operate services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), leveraging Kubernetes expertise for optimal performance.Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth 2.0 and other industry-standard protocols.Utilize observability and monitoring tools such as New Relic to ensure seamless system operation.Requirements:Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services using Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot.Strong knowledge of relational databases including PostgreSQL and Google Cloud Spanner.Experience with API design, implementation, and deployment using RESTful APIs and GraphQL.Proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and containerization using Kubernetes.Understanding of security principles and best practices for authentication and authorization.Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as New Relic.
