Responsibilities:

  • Performs machine installation, commisioning, on-site training, production monitoring and etc
  • Performs standby service support
  • Responds to customer and regional service calls in a prompt manner and attend to problem at customer site when and where required
  • Provides on-site training to customers
  • Participates in continuous improvement and developing of new ideas that add value to our customers
  • Other technical related activities related to SMT Solutions offerings


Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical and Computer/Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience
  • Proficiency in English
  • Strong SMT Equipment and Process Knowledge
  • Experience in Printer, Pick and Place and SPI Machines (preferably with ASMPT DEK and Siplace platforms)
  • Sound technical skills in Maintenance, Programming and Troubleshooting
  • Knowledge in basic project management skills will be advantageous
  • Experience in SMT equipment especially in service field preferred
  • Experience in SMT Process and Applications in the area for printing/inspection system, SMT Line Software’s integration, MES and Industrial Automation will be advantageous
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Results & quality oriented
  • Possess strong team dynamics and able to work in multicultural environment and with people at all levels
  • Able to travel on short notice and open for relocation
