We are looking for a Cybersecurity Content Writer who can translate our expertise into engaging and authoritative content that resonates with businesses navigating the complexities of ISO 27001 and CSCRF implementation.
Position Overview:
As a Cybersecurity Content Writer at Elytra Security, you will craft high-quality, technically accurate, and thought-provoking content to establish our position as a leader in information security. You will be responsible for creating materials that educate and inform our clients, prospects, and stakeholders about the importance of compliance, risk management, and cybersecurity controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation:
- Develop in-depth, engaging content focused on ISO 27001, CSCRF, and related cybersecurity topics.
- Write whitepapers, blogs, case studies, guides, newsletters, and website content to highlight Elytra’s services and thought leadership.
- Tailor content to a diverse audience, including IT professionals, decision-makers, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Research and Subject Expertise:
- Stay updated on developments in ISO 27001, CSCRF, and other compliance frameworks.
- Work closely with Elytra’s consultants and technical teams to translate their expertise into actionable and accessible content.
- Conduct competitive analysis to position Elytra’s services effectively within the market.
- Collaboration:
- Partner with the marketing and sales teams to create content aligned with Elytra’s business objectives.
- Support campaigns, product launches, and client education initiatives with compelling content.
- SEO and Performance Optimization:
- Optimize content for search engines to improve visibility and drive organic traffic.
- Analyze content performance metrics and refine strategies to enhance engagement and lead generation.
- Editing and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all content adheres to Elytra’s brand guidelines and maintains a professional, authoritative tone.
- Proofread materials for clarity, accuracy, and technical precision.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Journalism, Communications, or related fields. Equivalent experience will be considered.
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in technical writing, content creation, or a related role, ideally within cybersecurity or compliance domains.
- Demonstrated expertise in writing about standards like ISO 27001, CSCRF, or similar frameworks.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of ISO 27001 standards, implementation processes, and benefits.
- Familiarity with CSCRF and its role in strengthening organizational cybersecurity controls.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Proficiency in SEO best practices and familiarity with tools like WordPress and Google Analytics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Certifications in cybersecurity or compliance (e.g., ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CompTIA Security+, CISSP) are a plus.
- Experience working with regulatory frameworks like GDPR or industry standards such as NIST CSF.
- Basic knowledge of visual content tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) for creating infographics and visual aids.
