Position summary:

We’re looking for a motivated and talented individual interested in working on advanced Networking concepts.


Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Self-motivated engineer who can do individual contribution while mentoring juniors or new joiner.
  • Constantly improve the product quality by improving user experience, stability, scalability and device availability.
  • Technically collaborate with team, and actively involved in code reviews.
  • On demand work with support team to resolve customer issues.
  • Upgrade device software by catching up with latest open source components to improvise device security.


Expertise:


  • Integrating Linux open-source components with propriety products.
  • Linux Internals, In-depth knowledge in File System handling & Boot up sequence.
  • Good understanding and hands on experience with authentication, authorization and accounting (AAA) framework and protocols (TACACS, RADIUS).
  • Good understanding and hands on experience in system basic access modules SSH, TELNET, and XINETD.
  • Makefile toolchain, and Cross compilation.
  • Working knowledge of ONIE packaging and installation is an added advantage.
  • SNMP
  • Syslog - Secured streaming.
  • Authentication protocols - LDAP, TACACS, RADIUS and AAA.
  • Login Services - TLS/SSL, SSH, TELNET.
  • DNS, DHCP (client, relay, server), and NTP.
  • Linux iptables, Networking stack, network namespaces and system internals.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Education: BE/ME/MSc/BTech in CS, CE, EE, IT or relevant.
  • Experience: 5 - 10 Years


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in C programming, well versed with IPC handling.
