Role Description
SOX Tester- Execute testing procedures to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls. Document test results, identify control deficiencies, and prepare detailed findings.- Experience in risk management or audit (3-5 years).
Collaborate with process owners to clarify control requirements and address gaps.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and audit software.
Maintain documentation for audit and regulatory reviews.
Understanding of SOX Section 302 and 404 requirements.
Oversee and guide testers during control testing activities.
Develop and update the testing methodology and testing scripts
Identify high-risk areas and recommend process improvements.
Act as a liaison between testers and management for escalated issues.
