Job Summary:

The Yarn Dyeing Process Control Specialist will oversee and optimize the yarn dyeing process to ensure quality, efficiency, and consistency. This role requires a deep understanding of dyeing techniques, process control, and quality assurance to produce yarn that meets or exceeds industry standards and customer expectations.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Monitor and control the yarn dyeing process to ensure optimal performance and adherence to specifications.
  • Adjust parameters and troubleshoot issues to maintain consistency in color, shade, and quality.
  • Conduct regular inspections and tests on dyed yarn to ensure it meets quality standards.
  • Implement corrective actions for any deviations from the quality specifications.
  • Analyze process data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Ensure that dyeing equipment is maintained and calibrated according to the guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of dyeing processes, including dye recipes, process parameters, and quality control results.
  • Prepare and present reports on process performance, quality issues, and improvement initiatives.


Education & Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field. (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of [3] years of experience in yarn dyeing, textile manufacturing, or a related field.

Proven experience in process control and quality assurance in a dyeing or textile environment.


Skills:


  • Strong understanding of dyeing processes, color theory, and textile chemistry.
  • Proficiency in using dyeing machinery and process control software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
