As a Senior Backend Developer, you'll join the core engineering team to architect search, pricing, booking, payments, and availability systems competing with top travel players.We're looking for Senior Backend Developers with strong Java expertise to design and build mission-critical backend systems for the global travel infrastructure.You'll work on search & availability engines, pricing & margin systems, booking and payment orchestration, distributed microservices for travel inventory, and high-performance APIs serving millions of requests.Key ResponsibilitiesBackend Architecture & MicroservicesDesign and develop scalable backend systems using Java 11+, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate.Build robust APIs for hotels, flights, bookings, payments, and user systems.Create domain models, state machines, queues, caching layers, and workflows.Search, Pricing & Booking FlowsDevelop low-latency services for search, filtering, availability, and pricing.Integrate with internal pricing engines and caching systems.Work on transactional correct and reliable booking flows.Integration & PerformanceIntegrate with external travel suppliers, hotel partners, GDS/NDC APIs.Integrate with payment gateways (Razorpay, Stripe, PayU, UPI).Implement API authentication, rate limits, SLA constraints, and failover logic.Optimization & TeamworkOptimize APIs for high throughput and sub-200ms latencies.Work with logs, metrics, dashboards, and distributed tracing.Collaborate with DevOps on AWS deployments, CI/CD, and scaling.Review code, support junior engineers, and enforce best practices.Drive technical decisions, architecture reviews, and sprint planning.
