Backend Engineer - Cloud ServicesThis is a long-term contract position with a global technology leader.We are looking for a highly skilled backend engineer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building scalable microservices, designing RESTful APIs, and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. This role requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and adherence to coding best practices.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.Work extensively with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.) to design and deploy cloud-native components.Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment.Write high-quality, maintainable code with strong emphasis on unit testing and integration testing.Troubleshoot complex issues and ensure performance, availability, and reliability of backend systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and Product.Benefits:Our large, Fortune Technology client fosters progressive culture, creativity, and a flexible work environment.
