About the RoleAs a Network Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our network infrastructure.This position involves hands-on experience with Cisco hardware, deep knowledge of routing protocols, MPLS technologies, and strong Python-based automation skills.We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about network engineering and can work effectively in a team environment to deliver high-quality results.The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to analyze complex network issues, and provide creative solutions.A strong understanding of software programmability (Python/ansible/Rest APIs), Automation, and network security fundamentals is essential for this role.You will work closely with our development team to design, implement, and test network configurations, as well as create project deliverables such as design recommendations, high-level designs, low-level designs, implementation/change management plans.We offer a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and professional development.In addition to your technical expertise, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a strong attention to detail.A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. Experience working with network operating systems, such as Cisco IOS, and familiarity with industry-standard tools and technologies are highly desirable.Key Responsibilities:Experience in product lines like ASR1K, ASR900, CRS, ISR1K, ISR4K, ASR9K, NCS500, NCS5500, NCS5700, NCS2K, NCS4K, NCS4200 , c8000 series routers ( SpitFire), Cat9K, Cat8K, Cat6K series switchesDeep technical knowledge and understandings like BGP, OSPF, ISIS, IPv4/IPv6, MPLS, L2VPN and L3VPN, Multicast, Traffic engineering, Security, QoSKnowledge of software programmability (Python/ansible/Rest APIs), AutomationCreates and reviews project deliverables e.g. Design recommendations, High Level Design, Low Level Design, Implementation/Change Management PlansHSRP, VRRP, VLAN, VTP, STP, RSTP, MSTP, Macsec, PFC etc.Routing Protocols: BGP, OSPF, IS-ISIP Technologies: IPv4 / IPv6MPLS & VPNs: MPLS, L2VPN, L3VPNMulticast: PIM-SM, IGMP, etc.Traffic Engineering / QoSNetwork Security FundamentalsPython programming for network automationAnsemble / REST APIsAutomating configuration, validation, and test workflowsSeniority Level: Mid-Senior level
