DRUPAL DEVELOPERWe are looking for a Drupal Developer to be part of our Nestlé Nespresso Digital and Tech Team.Position Snapshot:Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, IndiaType of Contract: PermanentGrade: Band 2Type of work: HybridWork Language: Fluent Business EnglishThe Role:By joining Nestlé Nespresso Digital and Tech Team, you will be working on the technology powering the Nespresso business. You will work in a direct-to-customer context with significant volumes and traffic and a very rich feature offering, being part a of large development organization with direct impact to the online business. As a Drupal Developer, you will be part of the team responsible for designing, building, and evolving the Content Management System based in Drupal that powers Nespresso's eCommerce applications. You will work in an Acquia cloud environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective solutions that improve the overall user experience and streamline content workflows. In This Role, You Will:Maintain a headless Drupal CMS that provides content to Nespresso eCommerce website and mobile applications.Build and maintain REST APIs in Drupal to deliver structured content to frontend applications, ensuring alignment with JSON schema definitions.Develop and implement integrations between Drupal and commercial solutions for extended content management capabilities such as translations, digital asset management, etc.Enhance the editorial experience by implementing user-friendly interfaces, reusable content structures, and page-building tools following Drupal best practices.Manage and optimize Drupal hosting on the Acquia cloud platform, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.Optimize performance using multi-layer caching strategies (Drupal, Varnish, CDN) and ensure proper cache invalidation for dynamic content.Ensure accessibility and SEO best practices in content structures in collaboration with UX/UI designers.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integrations, APIs, and content delivery.Ensure high quality and performance through code reviews, unit testing, and integration tests.Stay updated with the latest Drupal developments and best practices to continuously improve the platform.What We're Looking For:Proven experience as a Drupal Developer (4+ years) with a strong portfolio of projects.Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.Proficiency with Git and collaborative development practices.Experience with headless CMS architecture and building RESTful APIs.Familiarity with Acquia cloud platform and its tools for managing Drupal environments.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Extra Skills That Set You Apart:Experience working in international, cross-functional teams with Agile methodologies.Experience in integrating third-party services and APIs with Drupal.Experience with Composer-based workflows and configuration management in Drupal.Familiarity with JSON schema standards and for content validation and API design.Experience in optimizing workflows for content editors, ensuring a seamless content creation process.Experience integrating translation workflows and Digital Asset Management solutions.Understanding of Drupal caching mechanisms and experience with edge/CDN caching.Strong collaboration skills with a focus on documentation, governance, and knowledge sharing.We Offer You:We offer more than just a job.
