Job Description:As a Data Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:Providing ongoing support for data-related activities and projectsTriage identified issues across various platforms, integrations, and customer data hubsAnalyzing and triaging API messages to resolve platform support issuesPerforming initial data loads and cleanup in Customer Data Hub using Postman, Python, SQL, Big Query SQL, and DatadogExtracting Google Big Query data to support data analysis activitiesPartnering with other IT experts to resolve data-related issuesSupporting user maintenance and setup activitiesCollaborating with the data stewardship team to ensure robust data maintenance capabilities and business processesMonitoring key performance indicators of the CDH solution to ensure data quality and established policiesAnalyzing and comparing large datasets using tools like Python, SQL, and ExcelRequired Skills and Qualifications:Active experience in master data management applications, including data extract and load tools, user maintenance, data analysis, and basic system configurationExperience with Google Big Query, Data Dog, Postman, and TableauProficiency in delivering and supporting cloud-based solutionsFundamental knowledge of REST API integration along with JSONExposure to integration technology such as Kafka, messaging buses, and integration brokersExperience with scripting languages, such as Java and JavaScriptFundamental understanding of data governance and its benefitsAbility to lead technical discussions with customers/business users, leveraging the value of the customer data solution and best practicesStrong team player with excellent oral and written communication skills at both business and technical levelsAbility to collaborate as part of a team to deliver exceptional customer results in a rapid-paced implementation environmentExperience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, and ability to write well-structured user stories and participate in agile ceremonies using JiraFamiliarity with data lakes, ETL, and data analytics, with solutions such as Big Query and TableauExperience in the health sciences is a strong plus, with specific knowledge of customer journeys and business workflows in a healthcare-regulated environmentBenefits:This role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge data engineering projects, collaborating with experienced professionals in the field.
