Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled technical expert to perform end-to-end testing of ETL pipelines across cloud and on-prem environments. This includes validating source-to-target mappings, complex data transformations, and SCD logic. The ideal candidate will possess excellent SQL skills, a good understanding of data flows, and familiarity with Informatica tools.The successful candidate will be responsible for performing data completeness, data accuracy, and reconciliation testing, as well as test Informatica IDMC/IICS CDI mappings, taskflows, and ingestion patterns.Key ResponsibilitiesETL / Data Pipeline Testing (Mandatory)Perform thorough testing of ETL pipelines in cloud and on-prem environments.Validate complex data transformations and SCD logic.Conduct data completeness, data accuracy, and reconciliation testing.Test Informatica IDMC/IICS CDI mappings, taskflows, and ingestion patterns.Develop comprehensive test scenarios using mapping documents and ETL workflows.API Testing (Mandatory)Conduct REST/SOAP API testing using Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI.Validate request/response payloads, authentication flows, error handling, and negative scenarios.Collaborate closely with integration teams to test upstream/downstream interfaces.Verify JSON/XML schema structure, status codes, and pagination logic.MDM Testing (Preferred)Test MDM match/merge rules, survivorship, trust settings, workflows, and golden record creation.Validate MDM SaaS configurations, data cleansing, and DQ rules.Perform validation across landing, staging, base, and cross-reference layers.Work with IDD/Data Steward use cases.Quality Assurance & ProcessDevelop comprehensive test plans, test cases, test data, and maintain QA documentation.Perform functional, integration, regression, and data validation testing.Log defects, track them to closure, and participate in defect triage with the development team.Provide QA sign-offs and ensure quality of deliverables.
