Mandatory Skills:


  • Proficiency in at least one of Oracle Cloud (OCI), AWS, or Azure.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with microservices concepts, frameworks, and tools.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot, including advanced Java concepts such as Threads, Futures, Concurrent programming, Streams, Lambda Expressions, and Functional Interfaces.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, SOAP, XML, JSON, and related technologies (WSDL, XSD, XSLT, WS-Security).
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and similar container orchestration tools (Exposure to atleast one Kubernetes Cloud service wiz EKS, AKS or OKE)
  • Proficiency with DevOps tools like Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Git, and SonarQube.
  • Familiarity with event-driven and message-driven systems, such as IBM MQ, AMQ, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
  • Understanding of microservices security, particularly JWT, OAuth2 and SAML.
  • Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles for microservices design.
  • Expertise in solution architecture, blueprint creation, and best practices in enterprise systems, with knowledge of multi-cloud and hybrid cloud operating models.
  • Strong influencing, negotiation, and communication skills, with experience in customer-facing roles.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead the architecture and design of solutions for migrating on-premise applications to cloud, ensuring alignment with business objectives and quality standards.
  • Understand legacy technologies like JSP servlet, EJB, JMS etc and ability to map/transformthem to Cloud Tecnologies
  • Experience in Caching Technologies like Spring Data Cache, Redis, EHCache or JCache
  • Architect, document, and guide the development of applications using microservices, ensuring stable and scalable solutions.
  • Provide thought leadership and strategy for cloud migration roadmaps, and deliver cloud transformation projects.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expertise on cloud integration patterns and best practices.
  • Work closely with delivery teams, providing guidance on best practices, architecture patterns, and DevOps strategies.
  • Produce design artifacts, white papers, and other documentation to communicate architectural standards and patterns.
  • Help resolve complex technical issues faced by delivery teams, including low-level design and code-level troubleshooting.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and cloud technologies to drive innovation and best practices within the organization.
  • Good knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL databases

Good to Have Skills:


  • Experience with other cloud platforms or tools like OpenShift, APIGEE, CA Layer 7, or Oracle APIPCS.
  • Knowledge of advanced cloud concepts such as Service Mesh, Chaos Engineering, and Serverless Architecture.


  • Familiarity with API management platforms, including APIGEE or Oracle APIPCS.
  • Understanding of Reactive Java and Spring Webflux.
  • Experience with testing and automation tools like JUnit, Selenium, SonarQube, and Fortify.
  • Knowledge of security standards and best practices for multi-tier applications.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
