The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing Active Directory environments. This role requires expertise in multi-domain forest design, forest trust planning, and domain controller capacity planning. The candidate should also be proficient in troubleshooting, upgrade planning, operational governance, and recovery processes.Key Responsibilities:Design and Architecture:Multi-domain forest design conceptsForest trust planningDomain Controller capacity planningFSMO role placementOU Topology designKnowledge of Active Directory site topology designGroup Policy strategy and best practicesPrivilege account best practices / Tier modelDelegation of permissions strategyGroup management best practicesIntegration of third-party LDAP applicationsRODC (Read-Only Domain Controller) deployment and managementBasic PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration managementEntra Connect and Synchronization:Entra ID, Hybrid identityTroubleshooting:GPO policy processingSysvol and Active Directory replicationDomain Controller performanceAuthentication failures, including cross-forest authenticationsUpgrade Planning:Introduction of new Domain Controller OSRaising functionality levelsOperational Governance:Understanding of change control best practicesPatch management best practicesRecovery:Active Directory forest recoveryActive Directory object recoveryNetworking Knowledge:IPv4/IPv6Active Directory integrated DNS with security dynamic updatesDHCP design and managementWindows Firewall configuration and best practicesPort and Protocol Requirements for Active Directory ServicesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field10-13 years of experience in Active Directory Domain ServicesStrong understanding of multi-domain forest design and forest trust planningProficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration managementExperience with Entra Connect and synchronization (Entra ID, Hybrid identity)Excellent troubleshooting skills for GPO policy processing, Sysvol and Active Directory replication, and domain controller performanceKnowledge of change control and patch management best practicesExperience in Active Directory forest and object recoveryStrong networking knowledge, including IPv4/IPv6, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Firewall configurationPreferred Skills:Certifications in Microsoft technologies related to Active DirectoryExperience with third-party LDAP applicationsStrong communication and collaboration skillsIf you are a highly motivated and experienced Active Directory professional looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, we encourage you to apply.
