Job Description:CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Digital Capital team. As a Senior FullStack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical leadership, mentoring juniorengineers, while designing, building, and scaling applications that harness the power of generativeAI that easily integrates into the fabric of our business.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working across the tech stack, from backendsystems and APIs to frontend user interfaces, ensuring a seamless integration of AI models intoproduction ready systems. The candidate will need to demonstrate he or she has a strong technicalbackground, is curious, experienced with leading teams, and has exceptional communication andproblem-solving skills. Key responsibilities include:Lead the design and build of scalable web and cloud-based applications integratinggenerative AI models.Collaborate with the Lead Data Architect to define system architecture, select appropriatetools and frameworks, and ensure best practices in software design and development.Build and maintain a robust agentic architecture, APIs, and microservices using technologiessuch as Python and or similar.Develop user friendly, responsive user interfaces using technologies such React and Angular.Design and maintain Azure based infrastructure for hosting and scaling AI solutions.Monitor and improve system performance.Implement best practices for secure and scalable application design, data storage, and APIhandling.Work closely with cross-functional team members, including Product Owners, ScrumMaster, Lead Data Architect, UI/UX, and Application Owners to ensure the end-to-enddelivery of user stories and features.Participate in Scrum ceremonies and actively maintain your cards on the scrum board.Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all systems and processes.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, conduct code reviews, andfoster a culture of growth and learning.Skills and Abilities:Proven experience in backend development using Python and Advanced frontend development skills using React or Angular with a deep understanding ofcomponent-based architecture.Hands-on knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services, including AzureFoundry, Functions, Blob, and container tools such as Azure Kubernetes.Ability to design and manage data pipelines ensuring high-quality data is available for AImodel training and deployment.Strong knowledge and experience working with structured and unstructured data that spanacross SQL databases and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or CosmosDB.Experience with various AI tools like LangChain, Autogen, and LangGraph.Experienced in developing APIs and API management.Experience building and working with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like GIT.Experience developing and delivering event driven architectures.Experience in using and implementing open-source large language models such as Llama,Mistral, and assorted embedding modelsExperience doing prompt engineering.Experience working with agile delivery methodologies and working in an agile delivery team.Ability to listen, build rapport, and credibility within IT and across various business units.Ability to lead and guide junior engineers.Curious. Stays abreast of current and upcoming technologies and tools.Minimum Qualifications5+ Years of ExperienceEnd-to-end experience in web application development, working across the entire tech stack, from backend systems and APIs to frontend user interfaces.Proficiency in Python as the primary programming language, along with Responsive UI development skills using React and Angular.Experience with Azure cloud services and DevOps.Strong understanding of developing and consuming APIs.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field.Amount of Travel Required0%Background Check and Drug Testing InformationCDM Smith Inc. and its divisions and subsidiaries (hereafter collectively referred to as "CDM Smith") reserves the right to require background checks including criminal, employment, education, licensure, etc. as well as credit and motor vehicle when applicable for certain positions.
