Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Consulting Engineer - Distributed DB, located in Mumbai, Pune and Bengaluru. The Consulting Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing distributed database systems. Key tasks include architecture reviews, performance tuning, capacity planning, troubleshooting and providing PoCs, pilots and production deployments for clients. The role also involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of database systems.
Qualifications
- Strong customer facing communication and consulting skills
- Proficiency in designing and implementing distributed databases, including in-memory computing, caching or data grids
- Skills in database management, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Go, C++, Python).
- Experience with cloud-based database solutions and their deployment
- Prior experience in delivering or supporting mission-critical, high-availability systems in industries such as finance, telecom, or eCommerce.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and technical support experience
- Experience with enterprise system architectures and Linux-based environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Relevant certifications in database management or related technologies are a plus
