Cloud Platform Engineer Job DescriptionOur team is seeking a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to join our dynamic IT Cloud Platform Services team. This is a full-time role that can be performed remotely within India.The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing, operating, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure.Key Responsibilities:Implement and manage infrastructure using Terraform to define and provision scalable, reliable, and cost-effective GCP infrastructure.Automate configuration management using Ansible to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.Monitor and optimize system performance using DataDog to identify and resolve issues before they impact users.Collaborate closely with software engineers, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of applications.Innovate and improve by continuously exploring and implementing new tools and practices to enhance DevOps processes and overall system reliability and performance.Requirements:Good understanding of cloud principles and services, with experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Azure required.Understanding of Terraform allows you to define and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) efficiently.Familiarity with using Ansible or other CM tools for configuration management and automation.Experience with DataDog or other visibility platforms enables effective monitoring and optimization of system performance.Solid foundation in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Collaborative mindset and effective communication skills allow seamless work with cross-functional teams.Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest Cloud Platform tools and practices.
