Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Oracle APEX Consultant with 5+ years of experience in Oracle APEX development. This role is vital for crafting scalable, integrated solutions tailored to the pharmaceutical industry's unique needs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while enhancing client value through sophisticated Oracle-based applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development Leadership: Lead the full development lifecycle, customizing solutions to fit specific client needs with an emphasis on quality and efficiency, leveraging your extensive experience in Oracle APEX.
- Application Design: Design and implement custom reports, dashboards, and interactive forms within Oracle APEX, enhancing user interaction and data visualization.
- Database Management: Utilize your expert PL/SQL skills to write and maintain stored procedures, triggers, and functions, optimizing database operations for performance and reliability.
- Legacy System Migration: Migrate Oracle Forms and Reports to APEX, enhancing functionality and user experience based on your seasoned insight.
- System Integration: Integrate APEX applications with enterprise systems using RESTful APIs, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for seamless operations.
- Performance Optimization: Focus on scaling, performance tuning, and security enhancements for both APEX applications and PL/SQL scripts, ensuring system efficiency.
- Data Management: Oversee ETL processes with tools like PL/SQL, Shell scripting, and Python, ensuring data accuracy and reliability in line with pharmaceutical standards.
- Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support post-deployment, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Project Management: Collaborate on database upgrades, system migrations, and regression testing, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Agile Practices: Implement Agile methodologies for efficient project delivery in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior developers, promote best practices, and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Industry-Specific Solutions: Use your deep industry knowledge to design applications that meet pharmaceutical standards for data integrity, security, and compliance.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Oracle APEX development and PL/SQL.
- Profound understanding of database architecture and management.
- Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry's regulatory and operational landscape.
- Strong capabilities in web technologies including RESTful services, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with ETL processes and scripting languages like Python or Shell.
- Knowledge of Agile practices in software development.
