Overview:

We are actively seeking a dynamic SAP FICO Consultant to enhance our IT (ERP) team. This key role involves spearheading the implementation of the SAP FICO module and serving as an essential conduit among our internal business units, implementation partners, and the overarching project framework. The ideal candidate will demonstrate robust analytical prowess and problem-solving capabilities to align implemented solutions with our strategic business objectives. Additionally, this role encompasses the crucial functions of training internal teams and crafting detailed documentation of processes.

Key Responsibilities:

· Execute comprehensive evaluations of existing financial and controlling workflows to pinpoint improvement opportunities within the SAP FICO infrastructure.

· Collaborate intensively with our implementation partners to ensure their strategies are tailored to meet our specific business needs.

· Assess and verify the partner's configurations and functionalities to identify any inconsistencies or missing elements.

· Engage actively in workshops and meetings with internal business stakeholders, facilitating the translation of technical details into comprehensible business terms.

· Work jointly with the implementation partner and internal teams on the design, configuration, and testing of solutions.

· Create and sustain extensive documentation, such as user guides, training materials, and process flow diagrams.

· Conduct effective training programs for internal teams to enhance their proficiency in utilizing the SAP FICO system.

· Continually monitor and refine the deployed SAP FICO solution, seeking avenues for additional improvements.

· Remain abreast of emerging functionalities and best practices within the SAP FICO domain.


Qualifications:

Essential:

Must be able to freelance

· A minimum of 8 years’ experience in SAP FICO implementations, preferably within greenfield projects.

· Industry expertise in either the manufacturing or service sectors.

· Comprehensive understanding of financial accounting (FI) and controlling (CO) principles and practices.

· Exceptional skills in communication, documentation, and business analysis.

· Proven analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

· Capability to excel in a fast paced, collaborative setting.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Must have prior Documentation experience and must have hands on experience with Activate methodology.

Desirable:

· Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.

· Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA greenfield implementations, including at least five comprehensive projects encompassing migration and integration with other ERP systems.

· SAP FICO certification.
