About the team:

Swiggy is a fast-paced organization with a vision of delivering unparalleled convenience to its

customers. Swiggy is present across cities in India servicing customers across different

business lines.

The overall team size is about 40-50 people which are handling the accounting and reporting.

This immediate sub function will directly handle the Revenue reporting requirements as well

as ITGC implementations for the same.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Monthly revenue reporting for food marketplace business and preparation of financial statement numbers for revenue, receivables, provisions and related disclosures.
  • Preparation and finalization of monthly MIS with respect to above items and discussing the same with business and business finance teams as required.
  • Periodic analysis and reporting of AR and provisioning based on internal policies and .
  • Assist tax team (direct as well as indirect) in finalization of revenue numbers.
  • Leading the automation from finance perspective and providing inputs to make the tech developments tax and ITGC compliant.
  • Leading the audit (internal as well as statutory), ICFR and management testing of ICFR and due diligence with respect to revenue.
  • Develop and implement the SOP's/controls for various revenue related processes to ensure book closure with utmost accuracy and efficiency as well as bring the activities preceding to data preparation and post accounting under the SOPs/controls as and when required.
  • Leading ITGC implementation/updations for existing systems and providing similar inputs for any new developments.
  • Overlooking preparation of various ARDs and taking relevant steps to resolve the anomalies wherever identified.


Desired Candidates:

  • Have CA qualification and 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in accounting or audit
  • Any experience with Big4 audit department or handling similar function of any startup/new company will be added advantage.
  • Have ability to multitask based on task prioritization and pay attention to details.
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills and experience in team management.
  • Have knowledge of accounting standards, AR related reporting and MIS.
  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Be well versed in MS excel and ERP system and have exposure in handling large volumes of data. Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
