Company Description Attic – The Fabric Hub is a retail and wholesale fabric & men’s boutique located at 12/3A Ormes Road, Kilpauk, Chennai- . We are offering custom tailoring, tailoring fits and fabric selection for men (and sometimes women/kids) Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Menswear Designer located in Chennai. The Menswear Designer will be responsible for designing innovative and high-quality ethnic menswear collections, conducting market research to understand current trends, creating sketches and technical drawings, and ensuring final designs align with brand aesthetics. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, production, and marketing, to ensure seamless product development and launch. Qualifications Design and creativity skills, including proficiency in sketching and creating unique menswear concepts Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, textiles, and fabric selection Proficiency with design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD tools Experience in fashion trend analysis and market research Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field Prior experience in menswear design or a similar role is preferred
