As a Data Governance Functional Lead, you will drive enterprise-level data governance initiatives across multiple business domains. This role focuses on establishing robust governance frameworks, facilitating workshops with stakeholders to define objectives and roles, and partnering with technical teams to operationalize governance using specialized tools and platforms.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design, implementation, and institutionalization of data governance frameworks, policies, and processes across business units.Facilitate workshops to conduct impact assessments, identify areas for improvement, and define tailored governance solutions.Establish and formalize the Data Governance Council by documenting charters, roles, responsibilities, and operating models.Collaborate with technical teams to implement governance controls, including integration with Microsoft Purview, Databricks Unity Catalog, and Informatica.Drive AI governance practices by implementing monitoring systems and ensuring compliance with organizational policies.Ensure alignment of governance frameworks with diverse business priorities and maintain stakeholder engagement through effective communication.Requirements:Strong experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or Information Governance within complex enterprise environments.Proven ability to facilitate business workshops and translate outcomes into actionable governance models.Hands-on exposure to governance tools and technologies, including Microsoft Purview and Databricks Unity Catalog.Deep understanding of Microsoft's Security and Compliance Framework and its relevance to data governance.Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.Preferred Qualifications:8–12 years of total experience with at least 4–5 years in Data Governance.Certifications in Data Governance, Data Management, or Microsoft Data/AI certifications are an advantage.We Offer:A competitive compensation package designed to support your career growth.A comprehensive benefits program that includes health insurance and retirement savings plans.Ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.A positive and inclusive work environment that fosters collaboration and creativity.
