Radiation Safety Lead PositionWe are seeking a Radiation Safety Executive to join our team. This role requires a professional with expertise in radiation safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and statutory licensing for radiology and imaging systems.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring radiation safety, implementing and monitoring radiation safety protocols, conducting radiation surveys, and maintaining records of radiation exposure.Key responsibilities include:Developing and implementing radiation safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.Conducting regular radiation surveys and leakage testing to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.Maintaining accurate records of radiation exposure and ensuring that all activities are performed within prescribed safety limits.This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our radiation safety program and contribute to the success of our organization.Responsibilities also include:Liaising with regulatory authorities for approvals, renewals, audits, and inspections.Ensuring all testing facilities and radiation-emitting devices are in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.In addition to these key responsibilities, the successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:B.E. / B.Tech/Diploma in Electronics or Biomedical Engineering.AERB-certified Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) is mandatory3–5 years (or more) of experience in QA Test, radiation safety, compliance, or regulatory management within a radiology or medical imaging equipment manufacturing environment.Sound knowledge of AERB, NABL, ISO 13485, and BIS 13450 standards.Hands-on experience with X-Ray, C-Arm, DR, and CT assemblies and testing setups preferred.
