Technical Excellence in Software EngineeringWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. This is a senior software engineer position at our Tech Hub in Hyderabad, India.This role involves writing, testing, and documenting technical work products according to organizational standards and practices.The ideal candidate will devote time to raising the quality and craftsmanship of products and systems.Responsibilities include conducting root cause analysis to identify domain level problems and prescribing action items to mitigate.The selected candidate will design self-contained systems within a team's domain and lead implementations of significant capabilities in existing systems.Coaching team members in the execution of techniques to improve reliability, resiliency, security, and performance is also an essential part of this role.Key responsibilities also include decomposing intricate and interconnected designs into implementations that can be effectively built and maintained by less experienced engineers.Anticipating trouble areas in systems under development and guiding the team in instrumentation practices to ensure observability and supportability is crucial.Defining test suites and instrumentation that ensures targets for latency and availability are being consistently met in production is another key responsibility.The ideal candidate will lead through example by prioritizing the closure of open vulnerabilities.Evaluating potential attack surfaces in systems under development, identifying best practices to mitigate, and guiding teams in their implementation is also important.Leading the team in the identification of small batches of work to delivery the highest value quickly is another key responsibility.Ensuring reuse is a first-class consideration in all team implementations and advocating for broad reusability is crucial.Formally mentoring teammates and helping guide them to and along needed learning journeys is also an essential part of this role.Observing their environment and identifying opportunities for introducing new approaches to problems is key.RequirementsStrong background in software engineering with a focus on quality and craftsmanship.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to conduct root cause analysis.Ability to design and implement self-contained systems.Strong communication and coaching skills.Experience with instrumentation practices and test suite definition.Knowledge of security principles and ability to evaluate potential attack surfaces.Leadership skills and ability to prioritize tasks and lead by example.Ability to formally mentor teammates and help guide them to and along needed learning journeys.BenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for career growth and professional development.A collaborative and dynamic work environment.A chance to work on challenging projects and make a real impact.Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance.OthersLocation: Hyderabad, India.Job Type: Full-time.Language: English.
