We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design, scale and optimize the reliability and performance of our production systems. This role will play a key part in managing observability, implementing incident response procedures, managing Service Level Agreements and facilitating automated deployments.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Designing, building and managing a Site Reliability program from scratchOwning all aspects of incident response including on-call rotation, system alerting, escalation, remediation and post-incident reviewsWorking with engineering and infrastructure teams to facilitate deploymentsDesigning, implementing and maintaining scalable systems to meet uptime SLAsDeveloping, implementing and owning platform orchestration (AirFlow, Prefect etc.)Taking ownership of platform observabilityLeading the development of new tools to foster automation, reliability and scalabilityActively participating in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to enhance code qualityRequirements5 to 8+ years experience in SRE, DevOps or Systems Engineering roles in high volume, 24x7 B2B production environmentsProficiency in AWS cloud servicesStrong experience with Linux systems, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and networking fundamentalsDeep knowledge of observability, logging, tracing and metrics systemsProficiency in Python or Bash for automation and toolingCI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD or similarStrong problem-solving abilities and attention to detailExcellent communication and collaboration skillsDesirable QualificationsExperience working at startups and/or fintech companiesFamiliarity with TypeScript/Node.jsFamiliarity with Kafka, Redis, EKS and RDS
