Senior Quality Assurance ExpertThe Senior Quality Assurance Expert plays a pivotal role in ensuring the high-quality deliverables of software applications.This position involves creating comprehensive test plans, executing manual and automated test cases, documenting results, and collaborating with development teams to enhance product quality.The key responsibilities of this role include:Test Planning & Documentation: Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts, identifying scenarios for functional, regression, and integration testing.Test Execution: Execute manual and automated test cases, validate functionality, performance, and usability of applications, document test results, and log defects in the tracking system.Defect Management: Identify, report, and track defects through resolution, working closely with developers to troubleshoot issues, retest fixes, and ensure proper resolution.Quality Control & Process Improvement: Ensure adherence to QA standards, best practices, and SDLC process, participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings (Agile), recommend process improvements to enhance testing efficiency.Collaboration & Communication: Work with product owners, business analysts, developers, and project managers, providing regular updates on testing status and risks.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).Hands-on experience in manual testing.Basic understanding of automation tools (Selenium, Postman, Cypress is a plus).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
