The role is ideal for individuals eager to launch their careers in manufacturing and plant operations, particularly in water treatment and related chemical processes, at a reputable and experienced company.Qualifications and SkillsPlant Operations (Mandatory skill): Hands-on experience or strong knowledge of plant operational procedures in a manufacturing environment relevant to chemical or resin production.Water Treatment: Understanding of basic water and wastewater treatment processes for efficient plant functioning and compliance with industry standards.Equipment Maintenance: Aptitude for routine checks, preventive maintenance, and minor repair tasks on plant machinery to reduce downtime.Process Monitoring: Ability to monitor plant parameters, interpret readings, and ensure all processes follow established specifications and safety protocols.Troubleshooting: Capability to identify, analyze, and resolve routine operational or process issues efficiently to maintain productivity.Standard Operating Procedures: Familiarity with preparing, understanding, and executing standard operating procedures to ensure consistent and safe operations.Attention to Safety: Commitment to adhering to workplace safety guidelines and protocols with a proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation.Communication Skills: Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders.Roles and ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor plant equipment, including start-up, shutdown, and routine process checks to ensure stable and efficient operations.Follow standard operating procedures and maintain detailed operational records for quality control and compliance.Conduct regular inspections on plant equipment, identify maintenance needs, and coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs.Monitor water treatment processes and adjust parameters as necessary to meet production and safety objectives.Perform troubleshooting of equipment or process issues, escalating complex matters to supervisors when required.Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment by following all safety and environmental regulations.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, offering feedback to improve operational efficiency and product quality.Support team members and actively participate in training sessions for skill development and process enhancements.
