Job Summary: The ECP Payroll Executive will manage and oversee all aspects of payroll processing for the company using the ECP (Electronic Centralized Payroll) system. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and addressing payroll-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing:
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing using the ECP system, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
  • Prepare and process payroll reports, including salaries, bonuses, deductions, and other adjustments.
  • Validate employee data and attendance records to ensure correct payroll calculations.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including tax filings and reporting.
  • Generate and submit required payroll reports to government agencies and regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in payroll laws and regulations.
  • Data Management:
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and employee information in the ECP system.
  • Perform regular audits of payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Employee Support:
  • Address and resolve employee payroll inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist employees with understanding their pay statements and related deductions.
  • System Maintenance:
  • Collaborate with IT and payroll software vendors to ensure the ECP system is functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • Assist in the implementation of system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Documentation and Filing:
  • Prepare and file all necessary payroll documentation and reports.
  • Ensure secure and confidential handling of all payroll-related information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably with ECP or similar payroll systems.
  • Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in Payroll (e.g., CPP - Certified Payroll Professional).
  • Experience with payroll software integrations and system upgrades.
  • Knowledge of international payroll regulations (if applicable).
