Lead Shopify POS UI Developer PositionThis is a senior role for a skilled developer who will be responsible for designing, developing and leading the delivery of Shopify POS UI Extensions across multiple retail use cases.The ideal candidate will build modern POS experiences using React, TypeScript and native POS UI Extension components.They will upgrade and migrate older POS UI extension versions to the newest APIs & components, handling breaking changes and rollout strategy.The successful candidate will integrate with Shopify Admin APIs (GraphQL/REST), Webhooks, App Bridge and optional Remix/Node.js services.They will configure and optimize Smart Grid layouts based on store, location or role requirements.Collaboration with Shopify Plus Support for issue resolution and assessing the impact of ongoing platform releases is also required.A key responsibility of this position will be setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines for build, test and deployment via the Shopify Partners Dashboard.Support for multi-environment workflows (dev/QA/stage/prod) with feature flags and rollback strategies is essential.
