We are seeking a seasoned Senior Voice AI Engineer to lead the development of an intelligent, automated voice agent capable of handling real-time customer conversations.Key Responsibilities:Design and build voice-first AI systems that connect phone calls to STT, LLM, and TTS pipelinesIntegrate telephony platforms with real-time voice workflowsImplement STT/TTS solutions using Whisper, Amazon Transcribe, Google Speech, or Azure Cognitive ServicesOrchestrate LLMs using LangChain, LlamaIndex, or equivalent frameworks to manage prompts, tools, and function callsDevelop robust APIs to write conversation outcomes into internal systems and trigger downstream actionsEnsure low-latency, scalable architecture for real-time voice interactionsCollaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and backend teams to align on goals and deliverablesMonitor and optimize performance across voice latency, transcription accuracy, and LLM response qualityImplement SQL-based reporting for conversation analytics and system healthThe ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with telephony stack integration, STT/TTS engines, LLM orchestration, backend development, and event-driven architectures. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills are also essential for this role.
